PZ Mustang - Maple Leaf Special

Here are some pictures of the Canadian Maple Leaf Special I painted and flew for Canada Day this year.
Krylon paints with Corsair landing gear. Maple Leafs were made using Word and clipart onto large lable paper then 5 coats of matt varnish to waterproof them.
The paint, elevator reinforcement and steering tail wheel have really made this tail heavy... ~3/4" behind the ovals making it a real handful to fly. I change to a Great Planes alu spinner (slightly heaver) and moved some pieces internally and it now balances just behind the ovals for a much more manageable flight.
I found the PKZ sports pilot at the LHS, from the new Extra 300 and painted the cockpit white... made a big difference changing out the old fashoned airforce pilot. The main LG is from a Corsair and the prop is 10 x 7 APCe.
Flys well now, great visability and makes me proud !!

Nothing says "Happy Canada Day!" than your own custom painted Mustang.
That looks great! Well done!
