Set it to where the engine idles well and transitions to high speed without quitting or stumbling.
Lead, follow or get out of the way!

Re: super tiger 90

If you don't already have the manual, here is a link to the online one.
I'm guessing you have had the carb apart and are looking for the initial setting? I would start with the head of the low speed just even with the throttle arm hole.
Let us know how you make out.
That went well

Re: super tiger 90

Hey Darryl,

Don't you just love it when the engine quits at 30 feet going downwind and only 50 ft of runway left!!

Makes the backside pucker a bit eh!!!

You got horseshoes up there!!! A 10 minute minor repair is pretty darn good considering.

Darryl and I are flying buddies and constantly at each other ( in a nice way) We both have Ultimate bipes. His with ST 90, mine with OS 120 FS. His an ARF, mine a GBerg kit.

After his mishap I go up with mine and after sitting for couple months I didn't neddle it in and went away rather rich. Started to die out and just coaxed it back to the runway.
Now the shoe is on the other foot.

You know how every now and then something happens at the club that really gets the spark back. Well, that's Darryl!!! After being away for about 25 yrs he came back last year with a vengence!! God bless him!! He has put the interest back in the club and especially in me.
I have flown more with Darryl this year than in the past 3 yrs combined and loving every minute.

I hope you all have a Darryl in your club!!! AND that you leave a few SOFT shrubs at the end of runway just for him.

Re: super tiger 90

what i have done in the past, when you put the carb back together, before you put it back on the engine, open the carb wide open.
then adjust the low speed neddle valve so its about 1/8" open,so when you close the throttle it will close naturally, but still be open for an idel.its just a starting point,go from there, works for me,hope it works for you.
