Hi Paul,

I remember! I was happy to assist! The DX7 binding to another Spektrum aircraft receiver is very simple and straight forward. The process you are using is correct; you may have a defective DX7? But, try what I suggest; it may work?

Otherwise, if you prefer, we could meet again at the studio, before or after a lesson, to attempt to bind to your receivers?

Ii must be frustrating? I am sure you are eager to fly? I hope you resolve this issue...

Re: DX7 Binding light does not flash

That is a great idea Gordon. I was going to suggest he meet up with someone else with a DX7 and let them try to bind their radio to the RX. It only takes a second. That way you can confirm whether or not the problem is with the TX and not the RX. I would even offer to help but Aurora is a long way from Mississauga. Hobby Hobby would be closer in the end.

From what I read in the OP, it sounds like the RX is ready for the bind (flashing) but it is not pairing with anything. Please keep us posted. Something else for the "memory bank" of knowledge.

PS- and Gordon.. when are you coming out for some lessons???...LOL
