Angry This hurts

While practicing for the Nats next weekend, I allowed myself to get distracted for a few seconds while doing the upstairs stuff and here's the result.

This was my A machine. It's a write-off. This was my first crash, and it was going to happen sooner or later but my timing stinks for sure. Not a lot of time nor money to spare at this point.

A picture is worth a 1000 or so words so, here ya go...(actually it doesn't look as bad in the picture as it does in real life).

Re: This hurts

Yes that indeed sucks.. but just forget it at this point - take your #2 machine and go do your best, and have fun.

Worrying about the nats and the crash wont help matters.

Its your first crash, but as you probably already know it wont be your last, if you stick with it. Hell, I just started flying helis again and I already dorked my Radikal last week.

Shhhhh - it happens as they say! Forget about it. Fix it when you have the cash and time. March forward!

PS I remember seeing Steve and Scott toast their #1 machine (they only had two between them both) way back in the early 90's when they were getting ready for the worlds IIRC. Not a very good thing to happen, but they carried on and did well. It happens to everyone!

if its got a wing or two and an engine - I like it!

Re: This hurts

I'm just a noob in all of this but I know how I've felt when I've crashed even when I could be back in the air in less than a half hour. It is not a fun feeling. It must be even worse as you move up the ranks in competitive expertise.
