building edf ,cross between a lear jet and a-10, 81" ws, 79"L , 1860sq" app, empty 12lbs,all up app20 lbs Will 2 HI
model 5" 120 a edf get this airborne , My first jet. ?

That is going to be pretty big for you first jet.

There is so much to learn in jets that it would be a shame to make a mistake early in your learning curve that will cause you to lose such a large (and expensive?) jet. Form your post, I cannot figure your power source. Is that going to be electric
or turbine? 12lb empty and 20lb all up is no laughing matter for a first jet.

I strongly recommend you get a smaller jet to start with, perhaps an ARF like the Habu. Then you can get your feet wet and get a better understanding of the performance variables you have to deal with when flying a jet.

I have gto agree with Max in that you may be biting off more than you can chew at the moment.
