I have a blade cx that wont hover out of ground effect, (maybe 6 to 8 inches at most). I have checked the blades and they are all new and perfect. The shafts are true. I have the heat sink on the moters. I bought a new battery, (yes I charged it!). Whats next? Anybody have any ideas.

Re: Blade-cx

Dont fly under a ceiling fan??
(Dont laugh, at the school we fly indoors in, there is quite the down-thrust when a plane or heli flies under one of these fans)

Re: Blade-cx

If you did not install the blades new, change them.

Yeah sounds crazy here is my storey

I got one of these that was crashed from a co-worker he was about to throw it out, the blades had no nicks on them. I had to change both shafts and the lower blade attachment point, they were obviously damaged, I then tried to hover it, it would climb to 4 feet then settle down tono morethen 8 inches, Someone on a different forum told me to change the blades, I went to My LHS blades are cheap so i bought someand changed them, problem solved. Apparently they wearout or flatten out over time, surprised me but it worked

Good luck
