Agree. You will be surprised how better you are at hovering when you get your plane low and close to you, unless you have a GIANT plane. I often hear people suggest to learn hovering at the height of 3-4 mistakes. I don't think that's good advice.

The easiest 3D plane to hover is a profile foamie. It may be counter-intuitive, but hoving low actually causes less damage if you cannot hold and crash.
