Hey just Wondering if you can put the stiffer Springs that come with the revo on with out the long throw rocker arms??? Did it but there is no sag. Will this be bad for the truck?
Also I had to take my spur gear off and was wondering how tight I should put it on to start?

Thanks for the help

Re: Have a question about my revo 3.3

The stiffer springs won't harm it it just won't have a lot of rebound going over jumps and stuff and will effect it handling. As for the spur gear, their is also a slipper clutch that bolts along side of it. When you put the spur gear back on and tighten that teflon locking nut with the compression spring you should hold the truck still from it moving back and forth and then put your finger on the spur gear and try and rotate it without moving the truck. If it rotates freely and easily you should tighten the nut. You should barely be able to move it with one finger. I f you can't move it at all than loosen the locking nut. The slipper clutch takes the shock out of the transmission when it shifts under acceleration. If it's too loose the engine will rev up considerably when accelerating and the truck will take a while getting up to speed. To tight and you'll put to much shock in the trans and wreck it. Hope this helps a little bit
