I will have to check them out, I've dealt with Thunderbolt, Azure, Paragon, ValleyView in the US, Great hobbies and HiflightRC. All have been great but sometimes it's nice to be able to walk into a store and get some stuff when in a rush. I have also dealt with Flite Craft, HobbyHobby and Skycraft. HobbyHobby seems to be the best so far but is the farthest one away from me.

Re: One Stop Shopping

I second AVF great staff and a large amount of stock. except for special items they are my one stop source for shopping, If i need something that i doubt they would have i just email them and they call when its in and I can pick it up with other items.

Re: One Stop Shopping

What about shopping online but still locally? I've been very happy with Great Hobbies.

Thumbs up Re: One Stop Shopping

Check out the Canadian advertisers here on RCC .

If you are looking for GAS model stuff Thunderbolt RC is good and will probably be at the London Swap so you can see what you buy.

For mufflers there is BISSON CUSTOM MUFFLERS in Parry Sound , On

A&J Hobbies stocks some high end supplies and will order it if they don't have it.
They are located at Hwy 400 & Jane St. north end of Toronto. from out west . HiFlight is selling retail online now. is an online store for your hardware and they are located near Peterborough, On.

For jet stuff check out Great Northern Models out of Toronto.

There are more & more Canadian hobby suppliers these days.

Most hobby shops are online as well.

When I ran my mail order hobby business, it was restircted to a few items that sold well internationally and a bunch of stuff that sold well locally like glues, fuels and so on. Everything else was nice if you wanted it for yourself. Special orders were filled within a few days since we ran a twice weekly pick up to the USA.
