No one should fault anybody for whatever they fly.The hobbyis for all category's of aircraft.Whatever the cost is doesn't matter.Myself i fly .40size to 25% scale. All are glow and i believe i will alway's continue on this path. One time considered gas after looking at the pros and cons decided to stay glow.Really enjoy flying Katana and edge540 25%.But continue to build smaller models as well.Keep adding to the hangar for when the day comes i can retire i will have aircraft to fly.

Re: Who flies mainly 40-120 size glow yet??

I like the 30-40 and 60+ wingspan planes. The 30-40 size planes are great to take out for quick flights in small areas and the big 60+ planes when you wanna spend the day at the flying field. Another reason is that the 60+ wingspan planes can fly on windy days and are normally nitros while my smaller 30-40 sizes are electric. But my primary interest is in the large scales for their sound.

Re: Who flies mainly 40-120 size glow yet??

Our only hobby shop has only $38 +hst fuel on sale, then again he has an OS 70 fs priced at $495 not even a pumped engine maybe gas is the way to go,I do have a medium size electric, but we have had a windy year.
I like my extra 300s with an OS91fs,AT-6 Texan ASP65fs Zero os70fs newly aquired aerostar bipe flew with a saito 91fs,changing that for a TT91fs put the saito 91 in my cessna floatplane,I have a P40 warhawk 60 size a GP extra 40,which I am converting to electric, and a little electric jet T38.As for gas the wife would kill me.
