So far, with all the wind, my poor old Blade mSr is getting all my attention. At least this bird can be flown anywhere indoor!
Yep! I just bought a used MSR and I actually flew it IN my car today! I was parked waiting for my wife. Basically just hovering in the passenger seat area while I sat in the driver's seat.

I've been practicing some basic aerobatics in my living room which is only 10x14 and full of furniture and wall mounted speakers and a ceiling fan. They really can be flown in small areas!

Re: Indoor flying in Ottawa or Gatineau?

Well found out the answer. Recently these sites have been overrun by spammer registrations in the last few weeks. It was causing significant work deleting accounts, so they shut down new registrations. In the mean time anyone can use the Contact Us form and I'll register them manually.

I was flying at the field on Wed. evening, it was rather interesting given the wind gusts and the wind effect from the pit beside the field, ....I am just learning so had someone else land it for me

As for me and a helicopter, I'd need the self levelling one, mcx I think, otherwise I think I'd be crashing a bunch...I find it interesting and maybe telling that when someone is selling their micro heli, they also have lots of parts to go with it. I just think I would get bored with it quickly and then want an msx...hopefully this winter is good and get the plane on skis
