I have a Mega 16/15/3 inrunner in mine and with a 3S 1500mah pack it balances perfectly. I converted mine to my version of a pylon racer by losing the wheels, chopping off the air scoop at the bottom and reinforcing the wing.
The following is what I'm using.
Turnigy 30A ESC
Graupner 5x5 Prop & Graupner spinner
Rhino 3s 1500mah battery
2- HXT900 servos
TOTAL ALL UP = 15.6ozs
My setup gets 379 watts for 388w per pound and she is blistering fast. However I find her very stable as well. The most problems I've had has been with the launch which has always been scary. Because of this I've started to bungy launch it. To accomodate this I had to make another mod of attaching a bungy launch hook. Now her launches are uneventful.
I love this plane and may well regret selling the "spare" since at the speeds that I fly this thing something is bound to happen sooner or later.
