Triton EQ "open circuit" Error Message
Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
Can anyone else shed some light onto the issue of getting the "open circuit" error message whenever one is charging a multiple cell lipo using the balancing circuit.
One thing I have discovered is that if you start charging without connecting the balancing circuit for a few minutes and then connect it up, you don't get the message again.
Any other ideas or thoughts to overcome this annoying problem with the charger.

Re: Triton EQ "open circuit" Error Message
I have been having this issue too. I own an EQ and EQ2. Both do this. It is a loose connection in the balance tap side of things as sometime moving it around will stop the annoying beeping that alarm gives. I have "mated" each it's own lead and find that leaving one of each type of balance tap on and charge on what unit according to which connector I need. I need to get a new set as mine I think are just wearing out. I always seem to forget about it when I go to my LHS, lol.
