The engine in the photo is a P&W 4360, used in B-50, and some modified Corsair variants.

That is the Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major or "corncob" which was used in the F2G-1 and F2G-2 "Super Corsairs", which are incredibly rare. As mentioned, they were a huge 4,360 ci engine used in the B-50 Superfortress, Stratofreighters, "Pregnant Guppy" and other multi-engine monsters. The P&W R-2800 was the primary Corsair engine for all other variants.

Whatever Corsair that engine came out of, there were only ever 10 built!! Appearantly some went on to become racers in the 40's and 50's. Very cool, thanks for sharing that!

Do the windows go on the inside or outside of the sheeting? The plans do not specify. My guess is inside. Either way, what did you use to attach them? By the way - nice work!
