I have a 27% Great Planes Bipe 1.6. I was planning to put a Q42 on it. This is my first gasser and was wondering if that engine will have enough power for it? Can anyone offer a suggestion? Thanks.

Re: Quadra 42

yep, it will fly . Use an 18 x 8-10 prop and make sure the engine head has some
airflow to keep it cooled. Some might say to get a DA 50 , but chances are you will need
the weight up front anyway for balancing with your quadra.

Re: Quadra 42

I had one of these bipes and flew mine on 10S lipo (until I had a battery fire) and then put in an MVVS 38cc and it flew it really well... it was a little lacking in a hover (barely able to pull-out), but a great combo!

I'm sure your Quadra 42 will work fine!!

Good luck with the set-up!!
