Try this Pull-Pull cable - It's vinyl coated Kevlar - It won't fray, it's very strong and the coating protects it.

It really makes a huge difference when you cross them if you have an offset in the servo arm. Look closely at the drawings is worth it.

I use a pull-pull set up in my 35% and my 40% and I have zero or pretty close to that at 45 and 48 degree throw in my rudder.

Geometry is everything.
