Looks like it will be Phoenix. For less than $200 you get the sim and a DX5 radio, which I can use on any of the bind-n-fly stuff, and throw in a nice little trainer and/or heli (Blade 120SR, perhaps), and for $400 or less I've got a decent start. If I don't like the DSM2 system enough to get another radio, then I'll go with one of the other brands and have the best of both worlds.

Buy yourself a copy of just phoenix rc with the dongle and find a used dx6i! I wish that was what i would have done. After several months of having it i bought a few nice helis and the dx5e is absolutely useless with them!! Next purchase was a dx6i with reciever!! Just a thought that can save you some cash in the long run!!
