Regulator or BEC

Hello i have a T-Rex 600E I am setting up and I have Bought a castle creations 10amp BEC for it. I am haveing problem with the BEC not giveing enough voltage to the receiver and servos. If I move the cyclic rapidly with no blades on it. The receiver goes in to the brown out. I am running 3 Algin 610 servos and a 620 for the tail. and the algin gyro. I was told by the hobby store the BEC in question was more then enough. I have tried to plug a regular 4 cell 4.8 volt pack in to my receiver and have no troubles.
What do I need to run this T-rex. I may some time in the future go to a 8s system as well.
Thanks Rob
Its the blue one in the link.

Re: Regulator or BEC

Hey Rob,
Unfortunately the Castle 10 amp BEC is not adequate to power a 600 size heli with digital servos. This BEC will only output 5 amps on 6S. You need a Castle Creations CC BEC Pro or the Western Robotics Hercules BEC High Current. With the Castle I highly recommend getting the Castle Link to set the BEC output voltage. Align servos, which are made by Savox are very power hungry.

Re: Regulator or BEC

Several of the Align ones have burned up, there are several reports across RR and HF sites on those.
Once upon a time there were Nitros, Flybars & Frequency pins

Re: Regulator or BEC

pctomlin you say that bec will be enough for my 600? I gather it will work on six cell lypo. Mark what is your experience on this stuff what do you suggest? I notice when my reciever battery is fully charged there is no tail bobbing but after a bit it starts to bounce up and down slowly like the servos are fading or mabe not able to catch up due to power supply. Servos are brand new and when I work them one at a time on the ground all looks OK but I also don't have a gyro working all that much at those times.
