Team Associated B44 ESC Problem???
Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
I have a b44 and bought a traxxas velineon vxl-3s esc and velineon motor for it. The problem is that I cannot figure out how to fit this huge esc in it. Its to big to fit behind motor and it is to big behind servo. Do I need a different esc for this or is their a way to fit this in? Maybe someone has done this. Any help would be appreciated. I was thinking of buying a futaba s9551 servo, which is like half the size of normal one and then it might fit. But dont really want to spend 100 for a servo.

Re: Team Associated B44 ESC Problem???
I've never seen anyone run that system in the 44, I run a HK 60A, Bluebird 621MG, Castle 5700kv and rx, and its tight, especially getting the wires out of the way of the spur and shaft. Don't think its wise to cut into the top brace to make it fit. To make the body fit right, you need to keep almost everything below that top brace, so you can't mount on top either... not alot of room to play
