Radio conversion

Hello all, Please forgive me if this subject has been covered elsewhere. I'm just returning to the hobby after some time away from it and would like to get some feedback concerning converting my Futaba 9 CAP to 2.4 ghz. Any problems with this conversion module or would I be better off to just purchase a new system? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Radio conversion

I use both the futaba and spektrum conversion modules in my futaba cap 9 and cap 10 without any problems.

also many of our club members use other modules in their cap 9 transmitters...corona etc...without any problems.

the cap 9 is a nice radio. no need to change.

Re: Radio conversion

If you have a module, FrSky makes a very nice kit.
Comes with telemetry and receivers are very well priced.
Very reliable system.

Re: Radio conversion

THis is an older thread so probably no longer valid, but I have a 2.4G DSSS corona module for the 9C and 7 receivers for sale - all for $100 plus shipping if you're still looking for a good upgrade at a reasonable cost.
