Re: Heli 450 versions

As far as I know Sport replaced SE V2 - older frame design with improvements here and there. Many parts are compatible with SE V2.

Pro on other hand has completely different frame, head and overall not compatible parts with Sport. Pro has slimmer frame with single piece carbon side and bottom plates so it's more difficult to build, especially if it's your first build...

I have been looking at so many of the clones in the last few days that they are all starting to look alike. I know most are trex clones but what is the difference between the V2, V3 and some of the HK clones.
I can see that some have a torque tube and others are belt versions.

Copter X seems to have a V2, pro, and a sport I think. HK has a MT, pro and a GT.
Is the copterx V2 and the GT the same parts except for the frames.

Is the V2 getting phased out for the Pro's and the sports.

Some sites show you some good close up pictures of the head and frames and others show you very little.

As for the frames what seems to be the best for a beginner. Aluminum or Carbon fiber. Not much difference in price betwen the two I was just thinking crash wise.

. Is one companies aluminum frame or Cf thicker then the other.

I know alot of questions but they all just rattled out of my head as I thought of them and was typing.

HK-450GT is the upgraded alloy version of the HK-450MT helicopter kit. From the look of it HK-450MT/GT copied from T-Rex SE V2...
