In addition to what helno says ; the nitro engines develope max power/torque only in the top rpm range ( say 12000 rpm) were the electric start to develope power right away as soon as they start turning and develope max power in the 8000-9000 range depending on battery voltage and Kv rating ( not talking ducted fan now !)

If you do some research, you'll see that Xoar electric props are the bees knees. Side by side comparison with an APC, the Xoar develops more power(watts) and thrust, with a lower amp draw. They are the only prop I run.
