hi guys does has anybody used the esky 72mhz transmitter and reciever with the hitec 5000 gyro or comparable i know the dx6i is what i need but cant afford it right now thanks for any info

You should be able to use it. Is there a spare channel and does it have end-point adjustments? You will need at least end-point adjustments if you want to be able to dial in the sensitivity. If not then you need to make sure that the gyro you get has a sensitivity adjustment pot. On some the the piezio gyros, they have that. Others do not.

I tried looking up the hitec 5000 gyro to see if you can adjust the sensitivity by the pot if you didn't have the capacity to do that via radio. I don't have the time to look it up right now. Anyone have the links to the manual?
