Bondo is also a tricky thing to work with, getting the right spreader and sanding it smooth can take some practice. The good old Canadian Tire has the 3M Bondo, for filling cracks, dings, and imperfections in wood and plastic, and metal , but NOT FOAM. Bondo is a lacquer base and will eat into most foam models.
Using a standoff scale P-51 to get back in the swing of glassing. This now gives me a nother plane to fly this Spring. It is now ready for some paint and sealer.
Toledo RC Expo and Swap Meet was a good trip last Saturday. Got lots of deals, tools, a 40 size engine and 2 gallons of fuel to get a good start on the season.
