Revo 3.3 Help

I need someones help, I keep stripping my spur gears on my Revo 3.3, at first i thought it was the meshing, ive watched a number of videos and talked to a few people, tried the paper method amoung other, now i think its because my slipper might be over tight but it seems when i lossen it any my truck hardly moves, one thing that keeps catching my eye is that the slipper assembly when bought new comes with a spring. well i cannot get the spring to fit on and be able to get the nut to start that hold the whole assebly together.

Someone please help me figure out this problem before i have to buy a box of gears to supply me for the summer.

Re: Revo 3.3 Help

Try this....080215_revo-tuning_p4.jpg Pager item ... in one of the radiuses. If you are continuously stripping spur gears and you know that your gear mesh and engine mount are good, then look in the Revo 3.3 Tips and Tricks - Chassis section

Re: Revo 3.3 Help

The spring that came with your slipper package is ONLY for the E-Revo. Revo 3.3 should use 2 pcs of cone washer with a nut to adjust the tightness of the slipper. Make sure you install the slipper assembly properly. We've seen the Chassis Brace(TRA5361) bent and caused spur gear to strip. Or something jammed inside the gear box and caused the spur gear to lock up and stripped.

Re: Revo 3.3 Help

Check your motor mount and your chassis. Something might be bent. Does you air filter have any cuts in the tube? If so it's from your clutch bell hitting it from somethig being bent.
