Ok, according to the schedule, the Fergus season opener is this coming up weekend of may 28/29. So, is this event still on considering all the rain we had. Anyone going? How do you get to this field?
I have nothing ready yet, but would like to get my feet wet by spectating and seeing what it is all about in person.

Its at the Fergus Aerodrone, aka Royland airfield.

Lets see if that works. The weather is looking a little "iffy" but people usually show up regardless. There is always a chance the forecast will improve.

Thanks Jan the map worked, I also got GPS coordinates from Jim D, thank you, Saturday is not looking well with rain in the morning forecast so far, but all may change yet. This current weather is pretty messy, but predictions are for hot, dry summer!

Where can 1 get tow releases in Canada?
Hobby-Lobby is always out of stock, and the cost of getting them in Canada $28.00 US so I'm looking for an Canadian souce.

Possible postponement to weekend of June 1-2 due to wind in the forecast for this weekend (both direction and speed could be problematic). Decision will be made tomorrow and will be posted here.

Postponed
As anticipated, the Fergus Aerotow scheduled for this weekend has been postponed to next weekend (June 1-2). The combination of cool weather coupled with winds in the mid-20's, gusting to 40k was enough

Hopefully see you next weekend!
