Rotorquest, and why they're awesome.

So I'm pretty new to the hobby and I'm pretty sure that I originally discovered Rotorquest through posts on here. Anyway, it's been my go-to shop for buying stuff now.

So on Friday I placed an order for some other bits and bobs, did the whole checkout thingo and decided to pay with Paypal. Entered the info and everything went fine. Then it wouldn't forward to the next page so I figured something with Paypal was broke and decided to change my payment to my Visa and just do it that way. Worked fine and I was all done... until I got a confirmation from Paypal that my payment was sent. Haha.

So I emailed them to let them know about the bug and to look into whether or not I accidentally got charged twice due to my messing around. About 20 minutes later I get a call from them, saying sorry but they've been having Paypal problems that day and it doesn't appear that my CC got charged, but I should keep an eye on it just in case.

That is good customer service- a call reply to an email is pretty much unheard of.

But here's where it gets awesome. So then he (the owner....sorry, I can't remember your name!) says "Oh, I'm going to be downtown tonight- you want me to drop this stuff off?". Sure enough, he stopped by that night and delivered what I had bought. Super nice guy too.

Seriously. Tell me the last time that's ever happened to you. This is someone that cares about their business and I think that's super cool, which is why I felt the need to give him a "A+++++++ EXCELLENT SELLER!!!" review on the site. If you've never bought from them, or have wondered if they're okay I hope this helps make up a mind or two.

Shawn has earned many happy customers. It's nice that you've taken the time to recognise his efforts.

Many businesses would do well to take a lesson or two from Rotorquest's playbook.

Re: Rotorquest, and why they're awesome.

I tried to place an order on Tuesday evening to get the order by the weekend, but I encountered the same PayPal problems. I sent them an e-mail to report the problem. By the time I called mid-day Wednesday, Brandon had already placed my Cart items on hold so I wouldn't loose them, and also suggested he call me back because of long distance. I was able to give him my card number, and he made sure the shipment was sent Wednesday afternoon. The items were in my mailbox on Friday. I'm definitely a happy camper.

Re: Rotorquest, and why they're awesome.

I echo everyone's comments on here. They are truly focused on customer service and ensuring your a happy customer. Of course, they are so friendly and knowledgeable too. It's is by far the best retail experience I have ever had and will likely ever see. I don't think other retailers quite get it.
Keep up the great work rotorquest.
