I see what you mean because the manufacturer is trying to make a machine for all flyers and this is the best mix. I would fly a fixed pitch with a 48 inch rotor if they made them because that is about my speed so for me a lot of range of motion isn't that critical. As long as I have enough to control aileron and elevator thats really where it's at for me. I don't fly in any kind of wind either at least nothing over 5km.
