GP RV-4 , not too pricey and relatively easy to build. Build it with the flaps for even more fun. a really nice flying plane. Your .46 and a pitts style muffler fit perfectly. Cameron.

i happen to have the plans for a sig somethin extra 40 size from a kit i just finished, should only be around $30-40 in balsa to make. The plans are in good shape and the planes are a ton of fun to fly.

Re: plane to go with OS .46 AX

Hi, have you thought of a Sig Kavalier, shoulder wing and sporty but good second plane. Its also cheap to buy and pretty easy to build. I loved mine and flew it like a pro for 2 seasons until I sold it to a fellow member that did the same.
An other nice kit is the GP RV-4, very nice plane to fly, I still have mine after 4 seasons. Its full of scars but at 150ft in the air you dont see them. Both these planes will fly perfect with a OS46 and a 10.5 x 6 prop.
keep on building.
Good luck

Re: plane to go with OS .46 AX

Seagull Spacewalker II is another great first low wing, scale and sporty plane to have, ur 46AX will love it. Many years ago I had one with 46FX, it was lovely combo. Goldberg Tiger II will be another good candidate or Sig Kavalier being mid-wing model....

Re: plane to go with OS .46 AX

So the OS 46 will work well in both the Kavalier and the GP 300s ?
I have both to build and now I can`t wait to start building them
