I am building a Waco bipe which has cuffs or fairings on the interplane struts. Does anyone have a method for simulating these? Here is info from the plans and on full size.

Re: Bi-Plane Strut Cuffs

This is what's worked for me before on a 1/4 Jungmeister - the one in my avatar.

Thin base plate on the wing surface from 1/64 ply (or shim) to shape, then appropriately colored silicone smoothed to shape (wet finger) with masking tape to define the opposite end around the strut.
Big plus is that it's reasonably flexible, and save the laborious process of molds and rubber etc.

Cheers, Mike
