What I dicovered is that if I check a Lipo the voltage across the board goes up by 4.2V going right from the red wire. Does the LiFe battery have the same thing happen, but with only 2 cells (wires)???

Could someone with a LiFe battery and a volt meter please check and get back to me.

Thanks in advance! BTW I guess there is a possibility that my chargers will charge these batteries, they just won't balance charge 'em.
I am not sure but from what I am gettting is that your chargers are charging through the main leads , ok ; right ? And your question ::: will the charger, charge through the balance leads ? No it does not . Most chargers only charge through the 2 main leads ( black ( ground- negative) and through the red ( postive) leads. What the balancer portion of your charger does; is actually discharge the high cell of the two cells ( in your case) down a bit so that the low cell comes up to closely match the higher cell. I don't know of any charger that does any charging through the balance leads as the wiring is so small that it would melt the insulation.

Rereading you posting #6 with regards to the screen readout sounds like the plug in to the battery has the leads reversed. I am only guessing .
I checked the manual on your EC06 and the readout is telling you that the wiring polarity may be hooked up backwards and to check it. Same with your other charger.
