I don't much like foamies, but a buddy suggested I get one for some dog fighting with his foamie P-51, and I couldn't resist. I modded mine quite a bit. I took the landing gear mounts right out and filled the holes. I used torque rods for the ailerons and just one servo, now mounted on top of the wing inside the fuselage. I also filled in the big square holes in the wing bottom where the servos were supposed to go. I also made some 20mm cannon pods out of foam and carbon fibre tube. They work great as landing skids, as well as knocking down B-17s and B-24s. I'm using an E-Flite power 15 and an APC 12X6 2 blade prop with a 3S 2200mah battery. And I obviously did a re-paint. Vertical is unlimited, and I easily get 10-12 minute flights. It flies great, as long as my battery strap doesn't come undone, knocking off the top hatch/canopy, and then dangling below the inverted airframe just on the wires, shifting the CG way back and making an uncontrolled thump into terra firma. But it's all glued back together again, ready to fly.
From the manual of Air Traffic Control - Definitons: "Separation is that condition which exists when two or more aircraft fail to collide."
