Re: Asp ft160twin glow

I had one a few years ago. It actually run quite well. Not much power but in the right application works fine.

Re: Asp ft160twin glow

My flying buddy just put one in a GH 30 cc S-Bach
It took at least 10 tanks before it stayed lit on both cyl at an idle. A little on the thirsty side but he is running it a tad rich still. Was a bit of a pain to cowl with the current exhaust setup. Mufflers are almost as much $$$ as the engine. Most run with out mufflers.
As for power.... I was hovering at 1/2 throttle (16 x 8 APC) ....climb out is not ballistic but positive. Not bad for a cheap engine not yet broken in.
