2 R/Cs, 1 Radio Setup! Help!

Hey guys,

I just had a quick question (probably stupid, but here goes...).

I have an AE RC10GT2, and a 1/16 Traxxas E-Revo. Now, I've never owned more than one R/C before until recently. The only reason I got the Revo was because my GT2's rear end was destroyed by a buddy's Bandit running 40mph in to the back of it. When parts were on order, I decided to pick up the Revo.

Anyhow, a few weeks ago, I bought a Futaba 3PL setup for my GT2, and I absolutely love it. As soon as I got the Revo, I took out the stock 27ghz rx ad tx setup, and put the R2004GF that came with my 3PL since the GT2 wouldn't be needing it until parts came in for it.

So, my question is... Can I just buy another Futaba R2004GF rx off of E-bay and toss it in my Revo or GT2 to work with my 3PL tx? Is there a pairing process involved, or can I just throw it in and it'll work?

Sorry, but I've Googles around and can't really find anything relevant.

Cheers guys!

Re: 2 R/Cs, 1 Radio Setup! Help!

Hi there,

Your Futaba 3PL is a 10 model radio meaning it will control 10 different models. You would require a receiver for each model up to 10. You will need to select the appropriate model on the radio and bind the receiver to that model/channel so the receiver will only communicate with that channel (model 1, 2, or 3, etc). I believe you could also name the models.

Have fun...
