I too am just new to RC Cars and Trucks this season. I always do a ton of research on anything before I buy and it has saved me a lot of heartache over the years.

After all was said and done, I went for the Traxxas vehicles. They are not the cheepest vehicles on the market but they certainly are not the most expensive either. Absolutely great bang for the buck. Strong, durable, look great and reasonably priced for what you get. I have 3 Traxxas vehicles now!

I absolutely love the Slash 4 X 4! It has the Veneline Power System and I use 3S 8000mAh lipo packs for as fast as I ever want to go....70+ mph. I run it on dirt, grass, sand, mud and snow and I am having a blast with it.

As well I now have a Traxxas Bandit Veneline powerd and an E-Revo brushed. Each one has its own character but I love them all!

You can pick up a Traxxas Bandit brushed power for only $185.00 RTR It's a pretty cool little buggy. Just charge up the battery and go!

The key is to enjoy whatever you decide to purchase. It's great that folks offer advice and input into your quarry, but no matter what anyone else recommends based on their preferences, experiences, likes and dislikes, it's a choice you will have to ultimately make yourself! Have fun and all the best with your new RC Hobby. Cheers.

Re: New to RC Electric Trucks?

I have also purchased an Electrix Ruckus as a beginner truck and runs pretty good. Not a speed demon but runs over grass, dirt, rock and seems to be pretty broken parts yet. And at $130 bucks, easy on wallet. Takes alot to roll it.
Looking at stampede for speed.
