Elec speed issue? Traxxas Summits 7205 vs 7207

So i have two brand new Traxxas Summit's 1/16 scale, one brushed (7205) and one brushless (7207) Installed the battery 1200mah that came with the 7205 and installed a set of 1600mah Dynamites in my 7207 with a parallel connector for longer run time and of course my 7207 brushless spanked my sons 7205 brushed.
However upon going to the hobby store and buying a 2nd parallel connector and taking my factory battery and installing it with his to gain him longer run time we encountered something totally different.
His truck came to life in a big way (no i didn't install a series connector) his out ran mine, does psycho doughnuts and wheelies??? (tore out his rear diff, it became locked, replaced with a new one and still same results) I was wondering if anyone might have an idea why??? I asked at the local hobby shop, they can't explain it, posted this same question on the traxxas site, 197 views, no one can explain it, one other person did experience the exact same thing, I have an email out to Traxxas asking them also.
Oh and myself and the one other person who has experienced this did not get longer run time? just a ton of speed and power, I even switched out the batteries and parallel connector with mine, same thing, ???? anyone???

Re: speed issue? Traxxas Summits 7205 vs 7207

well i heard from Traxxas today.......

I asked around on this. The speed should be the same since the voltage is
the same. The most likely reason is that when you apply throttle there is
a voltage drop in the battery. With two batteries in parallel there is
more capacity so there is probably less voltage drop.

Best regards,
Traxxas Customer Service

I phoned Traxxas directly after receiving this email and was told using the parallel connector does provide more battery capacity and less voltage drop giving the truck slightly more power but they still could not explain the gained speed? oh well time to stop worrying and just go have fun
