I picked a 1500 mAH spektrum rx pack a while ago without looking at it to closely. When I got it home I noticed it has 3 leads to the connector just wondering why this is and can it be used with a Futaba receiver? Thanks

Re: Spektrum Ni-Mh rx pack

just to be safe, check it with a volt meter, but I have a few of these and I think they just use the same wire for the battery leads as the servos, with the signal wire not hooked up to the battery.

Re: Spektrum Ni-Mh rx pack

Checked it with my voltmeter last night and put it on my charger, everything worked good. Never saw saw a battery with a signal wire before and never saw one that didn't have red and black leads for the pos and neg wires, confused me a bit.
