Okay thanks for all the help guys have passed on the information to my buddy, see what he does with it. Sure would be alot better if he would get internet. Starting to get costly printing off the pages for him. Anyway thanks again and happy flying. Oh ya you should come up to our Fun Fly, Airshow week. Airshow it self is on the 18th of June with the fun fly starting on the 14th or 15th can't remeber. Was a blast last year.

Paul (Eflite beaver) is using HS225's fpr all surfaces in his Beaver. I believe they are 54 -62ozs torque (4.8-6volts). The HS82MG puts out 42ozs if i remember correctly. The 225 would definately solve any issues with servos not having enough power to return, I believethe 82's would work fine too.
Paul did mention that the flap servo linkage is quite tricky to setup, being all internal, you may want to check to see if the arms or linkage isn't being interferred with , just something to check! flytwice FWIW
Thanks for this. The linkages are definitely tricky to set up. It has been one of the most frustrating parts of the build and ongoing. I thought I had everything set fine with no binding and flaps moving freely on the ground. And indeed on the ground they work every time. It's in the air when things go south. Suggests to me that there's not enough torque to manage the flaps with drag. Anyway my priority right now is getting the throttle servo replaced. I'll never get Electrifly servos again.
If man were meant to fly he'd have been born with wings. That's why he invented Superglue.

Re: E-Flight Beaver

The electrify work for foamies fine but that's it.
I use Airtronics 94141 on the ailerons and 94820 's on the flaps. I know I am overtorqued on the flaps but ran out of the 141's at 45 oz in. at 5v.
