This was my first spad build using slightly modified plans for the Debut.
The guys at the club fly them with .25 to .30 36" wings and 24" fuse for combat.
Couldn't belive I had my first one built In only three days(after work about 9 to 12 hours) and it dosen't look 1/2 bad. Will find out how it flies tommorow.
If you have been thinking of building one stop thinking and do it. the build was easy and still fun. If you follow spad to the bones directions though... Don't drill the holes for the dowel do their specs. wait till everthing is done then drill the holes to where the plane balences or you will end up real frustrated and have alot of extra holes in your plane.
Pride of the fleet:
Rose breasted cockatoo!
Has auto pilot, Never crashes when out of range, and
even starts itself... Unfortunately at 6 A.M. Daily!
