Our club does, CARFF in Red Deer.

We have a noise restriction of 99dba @ 9 ft from the engine at 12" from the ground.

Saint John Model Flying club here
We used to have an informal limit of 92 db at 10 feet but since we moved to our present field (over 10 years ago) we do not have any limits as there are no houses with in 5km of us.

Aurora Model Aircraft Club, Rule 9:
9. Engines larger than .09 cid must be equipped with an effective muffler. All engines must not exceed MAAC noise levels as follows: All engines must not exceed a noise level of 90 dB. The noise level is defined as the average of four readings (front, rear, left and right) measured with "A" weighting, 3 ft. (1 m) above the ground and a distance of 10 ft. (3 m) from the model.

Wow, this last post just killed this thread. So the obvious high level limit as per MAAC for which non-club members as well should adhere to as well to respect thy neighbors.

at our club we have no noise restrictions,we are out in the boonies with no housing developent in sight.we are pretty lucky and i feel bad for the clubs who have noise restrictions in sucks that clubs are losing their fields due to housing developement and noise.
