O.K. so on my AW E-300 the carbon fibre wing tube is perhaps a little looser than I'd like, particularily in the fuse phenolic....not so much in each wings though....Although admitedly I've never had one so loose in a wing either...Any practical suggestions on how I could snug it up a bit more?

Re: Carbon Wing Tube

take a q-tip with thin ca and apply light coats to build up the fibre glass phenolic. Wait till fully dry. Don't glue your tube to the fuse!
I did mine this way this spring and it quite snug now.

Re: Carbon Wing Tube

Not sure if this will work on carbon, but I have used light coats of primer on aluminum tubes to take up the slack. Make sure it dries before testing. Works really well.
Movin' on up to the top-shelf..3W!!!
