Well after a bit of time off, experimenting with never flown planes and a bad crash with a Porter, I got my desire to test fly again. The victim this time was a used 4*40.

First flight, I wasn't paying attention and hadn't programmed in a timer. Flew for at least 10 minutes and landed, killing the engine when the prop ticked the ground. No damage to the prop or plane.

I re-fueled and set up a count-down timer. took off (slight crosswind) and flew it for another 10:16 landed and taxied to my flight box.

This thing is a twitchy witch, and even though it is bright orange, orientation is an issue for me.

If/when, it needs work, the wing or fuse will definatley be two different colors. I would think that may alieviate the orientation issue. Won't it?
