Re: fma copilot

I have only used the original copilot, and found it can be a real help at times. Its major failing is if you engage it at low altitude while inverted, it will cause your aircraft to dive as part of its recovery to straight and level. As I understand it, the copilot 2 detects the inversion and rolls you upright to straight and level.

Re: fma copilot

I have the copilot II on my heli and it works like a charm, saved my butt a few times. The biggest difference from what I read is the copilot II has the vertical sensor plus the remote control. There is no need to have to calibrate the temp differential sensors before flight, just hit the preflight button in the menu and off you go. The II version has a stunt mode too, I have yet to try it lol. On stunt mode it has left and right knife edge, inverted, and vertical hover. Programing it is super easy too.
