Anyone want to upgrade there 9x transmitter?? Not only does new firmware exist, but a proposal for more changes to the firmware plus new hardware, completely changing out the transmitter main board has been proposed hereas such: This project started out as a kind of 'place holder' for the author's personal circuitry upgrades, hacks and mods to his ER9X-powered Turnigy 9X V2 RC transmitter. As time wears on, more and more supporting documentation and other data got added, mostly just to keep it all in one place for Gruvin.

This website has been working on several revisions to this end which would include SD card storage capability as well.

See the complete at: http://code.google.com/p/gruvin9x/wiki/About?tm=6

Nothing has been produced yet, but I would hope this would generate an interest. Cost has yet to be determined, but of course it depends on numbers.

It would be nice to know how many 9x users might be interested.

How about a show of hands or visit the Gruvin9x discussion group at: http://groups.google.com/group/gruvin9x-discuss to show support for the project

Re: A Brand New Main Board for the 9x's Transmitters

I've ordered a USB board and cable parts to wire into my 9X. Think I understand pretty well how to connect the internal part to the board. Not sure what firmware to use yet. My friend went the Smartie Board route with er9X firmware. The flashing part is something new to me so it will be interesting.
