Just for Fun! Morris Hobbies Gee Whiz Bee

Here is something that I built to have fun with when not flying IMAC! This is a Morris Hobbies profile Gee Whiz Bee that I built from an old kit. I modified the plane to fly with an E-Flite Power .46 with a 13 x 8 APC prop and a 4000 Mah 4cell lipo. No lack of power! The battery is built into the leading edge of the wing and sits right over the center of the wing for good lateral balance. I've put four flights on the plane in some pretty windy conditions and it is a hoot! The wing is almost 3 inches thick with a span of 52" There is almost 500 sq inches of side area so it knife edges pretty well LOL I added the lightening holes in the wing ribs and the wing tips and covered it in monokote with the kit stickers. Had some extra time so I polished the alum. landing gear. A silly looking plane to have silly fun with!
