Nitro Receiver Power Set Up

Hi there,

I have been using 2 cell LiPo (7.4v) with a regulator set at 5.2v to drive the whole helicopter (receiver, servos, gyro, tail servo, etc. It has been working fine; however, I have decided to try LiFe batteries (6.6v) and a regulator set to 4.8 v to 5.2v to drive only the tail servo and 6.6v direct to the rest of the helicopter.

As anyone used LiFe batteries for this purpose? If so, would you please comment with pros and cons?
