Lipo Batt voltage

Hi there, I was just wondering to what voltage I need to drain a lipo bat. for storage. I don't have a dicharger on my charger. Is there a general rule?
I have a 3S, it was at 12.35 V and I ran the motor with the prop off for over 1/2 hr. at about a 1/3 throttle which brought it down to 11.85 V., Or am I doing this all wrong?

Re: Lipo Batt voltage
Storage voltage should be around 3.75v per cell.
