Re: Incredible Flight

When you think about the physics involved, the aerodynamic complexities of natural flight...this is truely an incredible achievement, almost a milestone in flight technology. This must have been tried a thousand times before and never with any success. We've used birds as an inspiration and blueprint for designing flying machines for centuries, but have never really been able to duplicate their grace, maneuverability, and propulsion dynamics.

Re: Incredible Flight

Wow! That was an absolutely amazing demonstration!

I have seen somewhat smaller Ornothopters fly but nothing as incredable as this. At first I thought it was free flight but when it came in to end the flight, I noticed the gentleman with the radio beside the fellow who caught it. I would guess all the control is in the tail - like an elaborate elevator rudder combination mix.

Pretty amazing stuff for sure. I appreciate you sharing this with all of us!

I am quite surprised that more folks here haven't chimed in on this remarkable video!
