help with Hitec Prism 7

I'm trying to set up the Prism 7 to work with the elevons function.
I already have a model saved in Module 1, so I tried both 2 and 3 and get the same error... the elevator and ailerons work in reverse, and also when I go elevator down, the motor starts running. I have the motor/esc on channel 3, and the elevons on channel 1 and 2.
Tried reading the manual, but couldn't find anything. Anyone? Thanks.

Re: help with Hitec Prism 7

... it's been a couple years since I had my Prism 7 but, I recall there being a model copy function. Why not copy Model 1 into model 2 and go from there?

If not, are you sure you are using the correct mixing mode? I recall separate Flaperon or Elevon mixing accessed by the initial menu (I think it was hold both up and down buttons while turning the Tx power on).

As for the unwanted throttle mix ... does the Prism 7 have a servo movement display mode/monitor (I don't recall)? If not, plug a servo in, in place of the Esc and hook up a battery to see if the Tx is at fault here (likely). Check your switches, I seem to recall a mix swith?

If servo reversing doesn't net what you want, try swapping the servo plugs in the Rx.

Re: help with Hitec Prism 7

Best thing to do is to start over from scratch with a blank erased memory slot. Lots of times the issues arise from editing a previous model. Usually a mix thats still left.
