FPV Tri copter

Hi Guys

I started on yet another project. This is an old airframe refitted with new power source and the standard gyro setup has been replaced with the Multiwii control system. The main reason I reassemble the old frame was to incorporate FPV gear. This large heavy lifter test bed was easy to fly. It should be a good stable set up and with the improve control system will become my FPV platform.

The system was designed to lift payload above 5lb in this case it will not reach this payload but batteries will defiantly add some extra weight to achieve long flight times.

Cheers Jerry

Re: FPV Tri copter

Very stable Jerry, dialed in. Your going to have a blast with FPV. I had my quad out for a couple of test flights tonight. I swapped over to 2.4 video, from 5.8 with much better results. The 5.8 didn't like all the electronics. Can't wait to see some FPV video.
